The app is pretty great, better than any other one I’ve found for public radio. I always lamented that Portland didn’t have any great radio stations (on air) and I never knew of this station. My uber cool girlfriend turned me onto the station and then they got a transmitter so I can listen on the actual radio. But the app actually shows you what’s playing. It’s great.

The only app I’ve ever taken the time to rate. Amazing content, music for everyone across a variety of genres. A volunteer run organization with weird, awesome DJs playing almost entirely vinyl.

I would love XRAY.fm if it only offered real time streaming but the fact that they archive their shows makes me eternally grateful because there’s so many terrific shows and it’s wonderful to be able to revisit them.

The app make good on interface. Streaming the live content has been an easy go-to. Smart talk by Thom Hartman most weekday mornings, and great eclectic, well curated, diverse musical programming and other- most enjoyable, entertaining, and informative.

Love this Unique Station
What great and unique programming and music. So excited to have just found this station and we haven’t heard a thing we didn’t like or that bored us so far. Been tapping our feet all day. Lots of great new music to discover. It’s the source of new and interesting music off the beaten path that I have been wishing for and missing all my life. Highly recommend.
