XSCACE Controller now runs on iPad. A proper full-screen iPad app, not a stretched phone layout — it rotates freely, and Settings and EQ use the extra width with two-column layouts. On iPhone, everything stays exactly where you expect it. USB Library Browse and play music straight from a USB drive connected to your Air Mini or Air Amp. Find it in Settings › Sound › USB Library. Large drives are handled smoothly, and the app offers to switch your input to USB when it isn't already. Track progress and seek The now-playing card shows real elapsed and remaining time, and you can drag anywhere in the track to seek. Playback started from AirPlay, another phone, or the unit's own buttons stays in sync. Static IP For fixed and custom installs, pin a speaker to a permanent address over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or both, so a router re-lease can never move it out from under your system. Addresses are validated before they're applied, and anything that would strand a device is blocked outright. X-Sense room calibration X-Sense is now explicit about what your microphone can and cannot hear, and it no longer invents bass correction from frequencies an iPhone's built-in mic cannot measure honestly. Connect a USB measurement microphone to correct the full range — and load its calibration file so X-Sense measures against your mic's real response rather than assuming it's perfect. UMIK-1, iMM-6 and REW-format files are supported. Fixes and refinements Volume, seek and EQ sliders now track your finger precisely, including after scrolling. The EQ curve is drawn fully to 20 kHz. Larger, easier touch targets throughout, and a firmware-update screen that tells you what actually matters — keep the speaker powered on; the update finishes whether or not the app stays open.
