FAQ
How does Xtraky ensure the accuracy of my financial data?
Xtraky derives every figure from your manually entered transactions, ensuring accuracy. It automatically updates your holdings, cost basis, and profit as you record buys, sales, transfers, or staking income. If you change a transaction, all subsequent data is updated accordingly.
Does Xtraky connect to my bank or crypto exchanges?
No, Xtraky never connects to any exchange, wallet, or bank. You do not need to create API keys or hand over tokens, as the app operates entirely offline from your financial accounts.
What cost basis methods does Xtraky support?
Xtraky supports both FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and average cost methods for calculating cost basis. It applies these consistently and allows you to inspect the individual lots behind every profit figure for complete transparency.
Can I see my portfolio performance without opening Xtraky?
Yes, Xtraky offers five widget sizes for your home screen, including portfolio total with a chart and a full breakdown with allocation. There are also two lock screen widgets available for quick viewing without unlocking your device.
How does Xtraky handle inconsistencies in my financial records?
Xtraky identifies and highlights inconsistencies, such as a sale without a matching purchase or a holding not covered by the price feed. These findings are displayed prominently above the totals, ensuring you are aware of any issues that might affect your portfolio's meaning.
What kind of reports can I generate with Xtraky?
You can generate reports that detail your income, what you put in, what you took out, and realized gains over a year. Reports also include each asset's opening and closing position, with options to export disposals, movements, or income as CSV files.
Is Xtraky available on multiple devices?
Xtraky is currently supported on iPhones and iPads, offering a consistent experience across Apple mobile devices. The same account functionality is also available on the web at xtraky.com.
