Doesn’t work
Lets me sign in but won’t accept it. Says I am signed in but don’t have an account?!?! That makes absolutely no sense. So in reality mediacom/ xtream lies to their custmers when they say you can download the app and stream shows from your tablet or other device.
Worthless
This app is completely useless. Does not work most of the time and does not work ever unless you’re at home on your own WiFi. What exactly is the point here of having this?
Invest in improving performance
It would be wonderful if this app could work more than 3 nights in a row. Babysitting MediaCom and this app is exhausting.

I do not understand at all, how an Internet company as big as Mediacom is along with Cable and everything else, has such horrible, horrible apps for us to use! This app is extremely useless. Besides, the most annoying thing, is I have to login every single freaking time I open up the app… There is no need for me to have to type in my password every time I login, especially when the box is checked to stay, logged in! I can only use this app in my home, so if someone wants to steal my phone and go think they can watch anything outside of my home that is not near my TiVo box, then they need to work for Mediacom! Please fix this horrible app!

What good is it for
The app is useless if you can’t use it away from home. Waste of time to download.
Worthless as a streaming app if you travel
Other TV providers offer apps so you can stream your programming, that you are paying for, wherever you are, and on whoever’s internet you are connected. Not Mediacom. They require you to be connected to your Mediacom Wi-Fi. You can’t go to the neighbors and use their Wi-Fi. You certainly can’t be in a hotel somewhere and stream the cable you pay for on this app. And you can’t use a different internet provider at all. It’s only meant as a way for you to not run a cable through your house, but you have to have Mediacom internet for it to work.

Does not work trying to log into the app via iPhone the last two weeks. It just spins and spins. Fix your freaking app so I can pay my bill
Useless
This free Xtream app is another example of Mediacom’s poor quality of service. This company either needs to get help from their competitors or step aside for a competitor to take it’s place. It will work fine then suddenly shutdown and not reconnect for weeks!
Does not work
Does not connect to any boxes at the house. Can’t view any shows at all on my phone.
Crashes TiVo every time
This app is horrible! Every time that I launch the app it crashes my TiVo.
Totally Useless
All this app does is tell you that you can only watch programs on the TV or link you to a non-mediacom site (Prime for example) where you can watch it there. TOTALLY USELESS! Don’t bother.
This App is not useful !
I downloaded the app and deleted the app after a week. It’s useless! First of all, you have to be connected to your “home” WiFi to see your recorded shows . Secondly, the app shows you a list of various shows that are “available” but when you click on a show or movie NOTHING happens even when you are connected to your home WiFi. I literally see all of the episodes available for viewing but can’t get them to play. Then there are those that I can see listed BUT I have to have Prime Video to watch . Umm , there is a Prime Video app so if I wanted to watch a Prime show why would I even need the Extreme app. They should trash this app and start over because it is useless .

What’s this for?
I confused Xtream TV Everywhere with this mobile app. No connection whatsoever! Trying to get this to work I always get an error message saying I am signed in but no valid TV account is found. Customer service said you must have a Mediacom TiVo, then tech support said you don’t. Further reading seem to require you to be on your home network. Why would I want to stream to a mobile device at home? I give up.

Worst app ever
Sometimes the app works but most the time it doesn’t. The last few weeks if someone is watching tv and I attempt to launch the app, the TiVo box resests itself, which takes over 5 minutes.
Also, if I tape a show, then watch via the app, the sound goes out for 5 to 10 seconds every 5 minutes. It is VERY ANNOYING.

Stay away from Mediacom hacks
Everything involved with them is so completely stupid.
Doesn’t Work
Logged on and says logged in but can’t watch, or do anything with the app.
Horrible app!
Have experienced intermittent issues using this over past 2 years. Now it has become even worse! Every time I launch the app, it asks me to log in, then tries to connect to the box and fails. At that point, the TiVo box ends up rebooting itself, which takes 4-5 minutes before TV service is back. Have tried deleting the app from my iPad and reinstalled, with same results. Time to be ditching mediacom and getting a different provided! This, along with their steady rate increases, has crossed my red line. 😕
