I’m enjoying the game.
I’m enjoying the game so much. I took a Sailplane ride when I was 14 years old in 1978. I suspect that I got the interest in flying from My Father who had a fascination with flight from the time he was a kid. He served in the Marines in WW2 in the 2nd Airwing with an F4U Corsair squadron. He would have loved to fly but lacked the schooling to be an officer. I imagine had things gone differently for him he could have been a flying Sergeant. When I was I believe 8 years old I remember him taking a sailplane ride and seeing the smile on his face when he was taking off. He described it like being a bird and then when I was 14 my Mother had put together the money to pay for the 2 of us to go for Sailplane rides and what I learned from the experience the game is very realistic.

You guys should make another!!!
Hey I’ve been playing this for years now and I love it. Recently I’m coming back into gliding and this is the first game I thought of. You should make another one or even release another update for this game. Graphics can definitely be improved and optimized and maybe a little bit more weather physics. Just an idea. Honestly I know if y’all made another it would be great no matter what. Please make another glider game!

Sehr unrealistisch
Im Gegensatz zu rl sehr unrealistisch kann man gegen nichts machen was halt am Meißen aufregt sind die unrealistischen windenstarts ohne starthelfer außerdem zieht die Winde allgemein schlecht an und man muss die Runde neu starten um loszufliegen und bremsen auch schlecht ansonsten gut umgesetzt für nen Freeware Programm

Dieses Spiel ist ein tolles Spiel Mann kann in echten Welten fliegen aber das dofe ist dass man nur ein Flieger hat um 2 andere zu bekommen und auch 2 andere Maps muss man 4€ bezahlen das ist etwas doof aber sonst ganz gut 👍
Did not get anything new
I enjoy the free version. I paid for the full version and only got one new plane, and only one location. Lousy. The free version is actually better. I don’t think anyone has touched this app in 10 years.
Gliding
I love itI could not find any simulators of gliding and me is my first flight in the game but I do flying fly gliders in real live😀
Worst sailplane app ever
You never really get to climb in a single thermal. The app with make sure you crash every single time so you go to the paid version. Rip off.

Really good sim
I gave 4 starts due to the lack of dynamic lift. The thermals are pretty realistic after all, and it’s awesome to be able to fly online with other people. I’ve been a hang glider pilot for the last ten years and playing this sim on rainy days brings music back to my ears (variometer lol)

Xtreme Soaring funktioniert Top! Die Geräusche der Ask-21 klingen gut und realistisch, Innsbruck ist vom Flughafen her ganz okay für ein Freeware Programm gleiches gilt für die Szenerie. Das Flugzeug selber ist Top und Gut gemacht nur etwas zu empfindlich was Reaktion angeht, da schnell große ausschläge passieren. Ansonsten Top! Online Fliegen macht Spaß und ist unterhaltsam!

Great Thermal Practice
Nice simple simulator to practice free flight. Logbook and tracklog capability would be nice. Also, weather should be modifiable. In any case, great app to kill time when the weather outside doesn’t let you fly
Sweaty palms
I got to solo a few times in a Puchaz in the U.K. a few years back and the feel and flight dynamics are very realistic.
I played on the iPad where both the graphics and controls are really pretty good .. rudder is necessarily a bit of a compromise but the stick feels very natural.
It strikes a balance between a game and a simulation, if you just want to get in and fly this is for you. There is a good instructional video on the website I found useful for my first take off.
In my first flight I soared to 6,000 ft and landed successfully, as in real life, I really did not want to crash.. or even put the shiny wing tip on the tarmac.
It could be a more serious training aid.. preflight checks, proper patterns and circuits, observation, cable breaks etc. You might pick up some bad habits mastering this without professional instruction
An aerotow tug would be very nice to have .. and being able to view thermals is kind of cheating imho
Overall though, as far as it goes .. it’s great and it was a joy to escape into the clouds once again

Good soaring practice
This is a great app to refine thermalling or winch skills. Used it to practice my patterns too. Great resource for glider pilots to refine skills and stay proficient.
free doesn’t mean good
after this free experience of which i want my time back, i can’t see myself paying for this.
