About

XUNLI is a strength training field guide and a journal for your own progress. Plan what to train, understand each movement and record every set in a calm native interface. Available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. LEARN THE MOVEMENT Explore 62 exercises for home and gym. Switch between male and female demonstrators, each shown in three illustrated key poses. Read setup instructions, breathing cues, common mistakes, easier and harder variations, and precautions. Search in multiple languages, filter by muscle group or equipment, and save favorites. BUILD YOUR WEEK Choose a demonstrator, a training goal and your weekly schedule, then preview a starter plan. Plans offer 2, 3 or 4 days at home or in the gym. Your goal records your direction; it does not prescribe intensity. Choose training days, save custom plans, reorder or replace exercises, and adjust sets, reps, duration, starting weight and rest. FOLLOW YOUR RHYTHM For rep-based exercises, switch between demonstration and rhythm counting. Choose a 1–10 second cycle; a complete three-step loop adds one timed count. Pause, resume or reset, and stop automatically at the target. Copy the prompted count into your draft, check the reps you actually performed, then confirm the set yourself. This is a timer, not motion recognition or automatic rep measurement. FOCUS ON ONE SET Record weight, reps or duration. Separate warm-up and working sets, log each side independently, and use kg or lb. Pause, extend or skip rest. Drafts and unfinished workouts are stored locally so you can continue later. TRAIN FROM YOUR WRIST The Apple Watch companion shows plans and three-step illustrations. Start or resume a workout, adjust weight and reps, complete or skip sets, and control rest. Start rhythm counting on iPhone to see the current step, prompted count, target and pause state on Watch. The phone controls the rhythm and demonstrator choice. Standard text shows the illustration and logging controls together; larger text uses pages. Watch actions require a reachable paired iPhone to confirm and save. While disconnected, Watch can show cached information but cannot log sets. Stale rhythm updates show a waiting state. Requires watchOS 10 or later. REVIEW AND KEEP YOUR RECORDS Review history and recent weeks, add notes and perceived effort, and correct entries. Compare working sets at the same exercise, equipment, side and weight. No account required. Records, plans and preferences stay on your device. Export JSON backups, merge a backup after reviewing differences, or export CSV for spreadsheets. Optional training-day and rest alerts are local notifications. DESIGNED FOR DAILY USE Paper tones, deep ink and brass accents give XUNLI a field-guide feel. Light, dark and system appearance adapt to iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad window sizes. Choose the app language in system Settings. Custom names and notes remain as you wrote them. One-time purchase. No ads, in-app purchases or subscriptions. Core iPhone workouts, illustrations and logging work offline. Watch actions require the paired phone; external reference, support and privacy links need internet access. Illustrations are three static key poses, not continuous instructional video. XUNLI provides general fitness education and logging, not diagnosis, treatment or individualized prescriptions. Choose movements within your ability and stop if you feel pain or significant discomfort. No automatic cloud sync, Apple Health integration, heart-rate measurement or calorie measurement.
