Previous version was my favorite weather app. It had dewpoint and great photos too. Now we have the dumb musings of Kyle Whatever to remind us everything is horrible. Is he AI?

The cringey commentary is pointless and often wrong. Right now it says, “Comfortable for most activities.” Umm, it’s raining.

Storage hog
All of Yahoo’s apps are massive storage hogs. They just suck up more and more storage overtime and need to be deleted and reinstalled to clear space up.
Lost my town
During a recent update, Yahoo Weather has changed my default weather to a town quite a distance away. When I try to add it, the app no longer recognizes the town. I can find it by zip code but I can’t make it my default. And the weather pattern now is quite different between the two. At this point the app is useless to me.

It WAS So Good
This used to be my go-to weather app. I loved the accuracy, the functions, the layout. With the new update, I can’t see weather earlier than 7 am hour by hour. You do realize not everyone’s day starts at 0700, right? I mean, other hours exist. I’ll be deleting soon if this isn’t addressed. Really stupid update. Incredibly stupid.

There is no Arabic language.
Arabic is not available. Why was it removed from the app's language settings?

Over the past several years I’ve had many weather apps, but decidedly this one is the best of them all. It is not only easy to read, but also easy to navigate.

Don’t listen to negative reviews . The new UI is great. Very easy to use. Has all the functionality I need in a simple easy to read design. Mine one request would be to add real time precipitation alerts. Love that it has all the features that it does without ads. Keep up the good work.
Widget with Wrong City
After the latest update, the widget on my Home Screen displays New York. When I tap into the app, it has the correct city. And I don’t like the black background which can’t be changed.
Awful
I dislike the new design. I so enjoyed looking at the various photos of a location. Now, you can barely see the image. Unless it improves, I will delete the app. There are many other weather apps I can choose from.

Blah Redesign
When I first downloaded this app more than a decade ago, I was looking for a neat, clean weather resource. My preference has not changed, but this app has. I deleted it today and downloaded a new app that has a clean, uncluttered display. This app was fresh, now it looks like the default app that came with my first iPhone. No thank you.

Disappointed: Dropping Arabic support is a massive step backward!
I have been using Yahoo Weather for a long time, but I am extremely disappointed with the latest updates after the removal of Arabic language support.
It is completely unacceptable for a major global weather app to drop support for a language spoken by hundreds of millions of people around the world. Ignoring such a massive user base makes the app practically useless for Arabic speakers and shows a complete lack of respect for international users.
What used to be one of the best and most beautiful weather apps has now become a failure due to this poor decision. Please restore Arabic language support immediately, or you will continue to lose loyal users!

Bring back dew points!
Was always my go to weather app you removed dew points and just has humidity and says at the current temp the humidity feels (dry, muggy, whatever). It’s terribly inaccurate. For example today it said the humidity was 58% and “comfortable for most” but it was not comfortable at all because the dew point, which you removed, is 68°. Another time is said “For most people the air feels fresh and clean.” Wrong, the air was muggy because the dew point was 74. Please bring back the actual dew point! Remove the subjective “how it feels” comments which are overdone, cringe, inaccurate and not scientific.

Terrible update
I’ve been using this app for many many years and I always loved the options it gave. Now with the new update you added things that take up too much space like pollen, UV and air quality and took away dew point…one of the most important readings. You also took away the sunrise sunset and wind turbine graphic which was nice to be able to get that info at a glance. Along with the 10 days at a glance. Bring back the old and put your new things at the bottom.

I have used your app for over a decade. This last version says my current location is Chandler, AZ & I am miles from Chandler. I am in Gilbert, AZ southwest corner of Higley Rd & Ray Rd. Please fix your app. I have to continually swish to get my weather for Gilbert AZ 85295. TIA.
Note: I have managed banking mobile apps as the Dir of IT. This is the most challenging update I’ve ever seen from your team & features were removed (such as barometric pressure & ‘at a glance’ sunrise & sunset) or partially available, & I seriously question if there were test scripts for all the changes or they weren’t followed possibly. Something got out without full regression testing. Hire me as a tester part-time (retired recently) because the latest version needs some cleaning, & I helped change a mobile app from 2 stars to 4/5 stars in less than a year. Change is good when features aren’t removed & it saves time & increases value. I hope the next release is very soon or this app will be removed, and it was so good except shrink the ads a bit. Thank you. I appreciate your efforts.
