About
"Yakuzen is the medicine of how you eat."
Yakuzen is not about rare or exotic ingredients. It is a way of choosing and preparing food to suit the season, your constitution and how you feel right now. This app brings that idea into everyday meals.
■ Answer a few questions to see your current tendency
Chinese medicine describes six constitutions: qi deficiency, qi stagnation, blood deficiency, blood stasis, yin deficiency and phlegm-dampness. The check shows which tendency is strongest in you at the moment. The free version is 18 items and takes about a minute.
■ Results you can act on
For each constitution you get five practices for daily life and five for eating, along with the foods that suit it and what is in season through spring, summer, autumn and winter.
■ Keep a record for the whole family
Save a result under a name and it is kept with the date. Any result can be exported as a PDF to save, print or share.
■ A reminder three months later
Your constitution shifts with the seasons and with how you live. The app can remind you three months after a check that it may be time to look again.
■ Premium (one-time purchase)
- A detailed 63-item check, including the state of your tongue
- All six constitutions shown as percentages and a bar chart
- Foods for this month and next month
