Yale may have been a quality company historically but…
This app is absolute garbage, I’ve had it for years (has never been updated), it hangs, intermittently connects. A security company that actually put its customers at risk due to poor implementation and no customer support
Brilliant camera quality, rubbish app
Purchased these cameras a few years ago and really rate the quality of the pictures, however over the past month or so when I’ve needed my home security more than ever, the app continually glitches and I can’t view nor store and footage as needed for evidence. Extremely disappointed.

Won’t by Yale again works fine at home but as IOS updates role through it stops working and you cannot view it on your phone
Take aren’t interested customer service is shocking you email them as they request and they just don’t get back to you
If your considering using them don’t bother take your money elsewhere

Dysfunctional App
Could not add any of my cameras or DVR. Scanning function did not work.
Search function did not detect any of my cameras or dvr.
When I copied and pasted the camera SN, application stated it as invalid??
Totally useless.

I have this app downloaded on my IPhone XR and I can’t use it when I do not have WiFi.
Mum and dad both have Samsung phone and it works on there phone through their 4G

I have used this Yale app for past 3/4 years
I have used this app for past few years and it’s gone worse and worse. I have had to reconfig the ip addresses to the app so many times. Actually reached stage now where is no longer works. Doesn’t connect anymore to my cctv and I even have reset my box to factory settings. I don’t usually write reviews but this app have been nothing but trouble since day 1

App shows low memory
Dear developer when ever I tried to view the cctv your app plays camera but in less then a minute shows low memory and exit view.
In fact there is more than 100GB free memory and previously it gives option of clearing catches which is no longer available.
Could you please check why these issuers are there

Used to be good, but now skips an hour on playback
This used to be good until the last update, now whenever you try to play back events, when you select a time, it jumps forward an hour every time! Impossible to view anything.

I shouldn’t really say this but this is one app I would pay for.

Bought a complete system and initially it performed well. Since.. the app fails to find my system and the footage takes for ages to load? Really don’t see how it can be looked at as one of the best systems when in today’s day and age..you cannot get it to connect?
Auto play would make this app perfect
App works great with CCTV system and is very reliable. However, ability to select a device to auto play when the app is opened would make this app perfect and 5 stars.
Connect all YALE CCTV products in same APP.
A couple of things, seem to get a lot of CCTV of cats walking across the camera view (Some real time working face recognition would be an improvement). Be an improvement if all the YALE CCTV products worked from the same application, just for ease of use. Not sure what happens when the SD Cards are full or why things are not recording. As well as faces, be good to capture number plates parked on my drive.

Amazing update! Have amended my prior review...
Yale have updated their cctv app and it’s GREAT!
Fully working, improved functionality and overall a good interface.
Now Yale are at the top of the market, the competition can’t beat their cameras and home security ideas plus with the app being updated the only real flaw to their products is now very much improved. Unmatched customer service also, was very impressed with how my issue was handled and quickly resolved.

Been trying now for days to get this to work I’ve emailed Yale and tried to phone but had no response, even looking online I can’t find a solution to my problem, after spending so much money on my home alarm and now cctv I’d expect a better after care service
Unreliable and stops working
Very unreliable. Works then just stops. Playback freezes and why does it restart from midnight every day?

Great...when you know how to set it up!
Firstly...do not use the router gateways in set up!...they are used by Microsoft programs that will crash the Yale box...even Yale do not know this...must be stupid I guess!
Secondly..if you use an ip provider that does not give a static ip address you’re in big trouble..you will never be able to to watch remotely unless you have a dns server and another program reporting to the router what port the Yale box is using..took me ages to work out and a free box from Yale as they didn’t know the conflict in their set up regarding ports to open!
Brilliant bit of kit when you know what to do!..but be warned..can be a ball ache unless you have a bit of knowledge using port forwarding.

Good.
Works absolutely fine and does what you’d expect. Make sure you download the correct app for your system as they aren’t interchangeable. I was about to return my CCTV system because it couldn’t be viewed by the “recommended” app and then found this one.
