Sort the login/security
Surly this app needs an update? No Face ID or passkey, continually need to log in to the app to use it, it’s very frustrating especially if the alarm is activated accidentally.

Drives me nuts
Had this for a long time and it’s getting worse and worse. Drops out constantly and I have to log back in. Ridiculous, it does it almost daily on all iPads and phones.
Thinking of ripping it out now and put in a different system.

Useless
I have only rated this one star because I cannot give it zero. The app won’t let you set your own password. It continually logs you out and HUB is almost permanently off-line. Buy something else anything else but this.
Annoying App
Dreadful app requires logging in every time they make a change. The password is never there and not suggested or autocompleted like with every other app. What a poorly written bit of software.

Please fix the app… why does it not remember the username & password? It forgets these completely at random. Infuriating!

App keeps logging out and then my watch keeps asking to log back in. Happens daily!!!
Logging Out
The app when working is simple enough and fine but the constant having to log in nearly each time the app is opened is very poor, the alarm ends up setting off before it’s managed to log in to disarm. Other reviews saying the same and no responses show how little Yale are bothered about this and the reputation.

Also the status of devices.. it’s always faulty and asks for battery change, despite new batteries installed. It seems like Yale doesn’t care about its product & software upgrade. What a fall from one of the most trusted brand

Terrible app
Wish I hadn’t ever purchased this Yale alarm. It was working perfectly when I purchased it 3 years ago, however over the past year the app keeps logging you out and I need to log back in on nearly a daily basis to turn the alarm on/off. Thought they would have done something to fix this but it has been over a year now. I note other reviews are pointing this out too. AVOID.

It’s painful that the app will keep logging you out multiple times a day.

A great app, easy to use but recently it’s been logging us both out. Very frustrating to say the least and I’m not the first to report this in a review but it seems nothing has been done as there’s been no developer response and it keeps happening, morning & evening.

Constant Password Resets Required
Even with Face ID turned on, the app requires you to enter a password after a short period instead of using face recognition. Unless you remember your password, you’ll need to reset it which is a pain.
Logging out issue not fixed
Developers have been ‘aware of the issue’ for months now and no fix, Yale still sell this on Amazon so you need to sort it out or you will lose your good reputation!

This would be getting 5 stars if it worked as it used to but after an update around a year ago the app now requires login nearly every time you open it .

Have to log in every time
App is straightforward but every time I want to use it I have to log in. Please get this sorted!
Unusable
The app logs out after every use. Sometimes it doesn’t accept the password so you have to reset it - sometimes standing in your doorway surrounded by all your shopping and crying kids whilst the alarm goes off. (The flimsy keypad died a long time ago). It also sometimes says it’s deactivated and it isn’t. I don’t know how many times a day we can trigger the alarm without upsetting the neighbours.

No longer supported?
The alarm is still lit up and functions but the app can no longer connect.
I’m a DevOps engineer so I’ve tried all the normal stuff. Device is discoverable on the network, internet connection is available, no port blocking in place.
It’s as if the api dropped a few days ago or support for the device did.

Is really hard to add any device
I spent three full days trying to set up the SR-PVC PIR Video Camera, and it was an absolute nightmare. I followed every single instruction provided in the manual, tried multiple setups, and even searched online for solutions – nothing worked.
The instructions are incomplete, confusing, and often contradictory. The app/software is buggy, the device keeps failing to connect, and technical support (if any exists) is completely unhelpful. I expected a simple plug-and-play device, but instead, I got endless frustration and wasted time.
For a product that claims to be “easy to install,” this is far from the truth. I cannot recommend this to anyone. Save your money and avoid this at all costs.
