Download the Yam Display host app on your Mac from www.yamdisplay.com. Yam Air on your iOS device will automatically connect to a nearby Mac when Wi-Fi is turned on. For compatible devices, an internet connection is not even required.
The core functionality of Yam Air, including turning your iOS device into a wireless second display, is free. However, advanced features like Drag and Drop between your iPad and Mac, and Teleprompter Mode, are available through an in-app purchase.
Yam Air requires a Mac released after 2012 with macOS 10.10 or later, and any iOS device with iOS 8.0 or later. Devices that support AirDrop offer the best experience, but other devices can connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth pairing.
