App isn’t functional
I tried to place a delivery order with the app but every time I’ve tried to pick an item, it makes me go back to the address section and won’t even let me put in my address details. Even when I was able to put my address details, it wouldn’t let me confirm it and would send me back to the start of the menu. I like the food but this app keeps glitching out on me no matter what I do.

I’ll travel to eat here
I have been coming to this location for 3yrs. I simply love the place. Everything from the food, service and atmosphere. I travel from Suffolk to Yorktown just to eat here. Don’t ever change a thing. Customer Service is always wonderful. I Love It !!! 😊

never had a bad experience. food is great, service is great, rewards program is cool, and app works very well for carry out orders. delivery takes a while, but i never use it so 5/5 stars.
Sorely disappointed
As far as the presentation of the food was great. The curtesy of the counter was beyond exceptional. The food felt and tasted above room temperature warm & I only ordered sushi. The wasbi was hard. I’m glad I keep some on hand at the house. Overall I would go somewhere else for sushi! Now this was at the store on N. Mall dr in Virginia Beach.

Very few times have I ever had a new place surprise me, and just for reference I’m VERY picky about sushi! The meal was wonderful from start to finish with delicious complimentary spring rolls and cheese cake deserts. Wow just amazing service!!!
Best sushi in the beach
Been going here since it opened at the general booth location. The size of the rolls have gotten smaller with the success and expansion, but the quality has never wavered.

Best Sushi in VA
Coming from California it has been difficult to find a good sushi place. However YamaChen’s has exceeded all expectations. They are always kind, very homey feeling and super delicious. The rolls are tight and fresh! Highly recommend!

Alyse was awesome. She was very attentive to us and took great care of us. The kitchen brought out amazing dishes for us to try throughout our meal. All around a wonderful experience. The ambiance is beautiful and welcoming. Will definitely be back
