..but why you need to collect all the data available. This is the browser that collects far the most data of all browsers.

Needs split screen support on iPad
This app doesn’t let you open it up in split screen. This puts the app a couple of years behind the competition. Still works well though, and it’s nice to diversify away from google

Crashes on iPad 8 with iOS 14.2
I use Yandex apps and browsers happily on my Macs and iPhones. I have been a professional software developer for several decades. On my new iPad 8 with fully updated iOS the Yandex Browser for iPad works normally for a few days, then starts crashing immediately on startup. The browser configuration and use is very conservative and unremarkable. The first time I experienced the problem and could not fix it, I finally deleted the browser app. After a few days I reinstalled the app, and two days later it started crashing again. Deleted it again. Will stick to Chrome on the iPad.
Update Nov 12 2020. In response to the one-star review above, Yandex support sent me a link to a new build (255) of the browser, which has now worked perfectly for two days of heavy use on my iPad 8. This is very satisfactory for me because I use Yandex browser, search, and apps on all my computers and mobile devices. The rating has been upgraded accordingly.
Update Nov 12 2020. In response to the one-star review above, Yandex support sent me a link to a new build (255) of the browser, which has now worked perfectly for two days of heavy use on my iPad 8. This is very satisfactory for me because I use Yandex browser, search, and apps on all my computers and mobile devices. The rating has been upgraded accordingly.

No multitasking?
Can somebody from Yandex explain why the browser doesn’t support multitasking on iOS. Disappointing for an otherwise good browser.
