Frustrating
I had to delete the app because I can never pass the scanning.
Stupid
I used to love this app. All I wanted to do is purchase candles and you’ve made it into some stupid, video scanning feature. Leave things that don’t need to be fixed, alone. What is the point of this? Are you deliberately trying to lose customers?
Bad
I wanted an app to keep track of what candles I liked. I downloaded it and tried to scan the candle label. It would not scan no matter what I did. Plus, the app does not allow you to do anything else until you scan it. There is no way to look up or input candles manually.

How about an ACTUAL Yankee Candle app to allow shoppers to easily search and order what they want? This app is ridiculous. It literally does NOTHING useful. Deleted it in less than 3 min after downloading. Just a suggestion, Yankee Candle...it’s 2021 now and even the dollar stores have shopping apps. Might wanna get with the program if you want to stay successful. Good grief. 🙄

Impossible to take a photo! Why not just let people enter the type of candle you want to personalize??? Horrible app.
I don’t want to take a picture of my candle
I just downloaded your app & I’m beyond annoyed. I just want to purchase candles. But your weird feature of trying to take a picture is not scanning. Tried it 10+ times. Deleting app immediately.

I just wanted to order a candle
The only screen - literally the only option- is to give the app access to your camera to take or scan an image. I just wanted a new candle, folks. I even deleted and re-added the app in case it was a glitch. Nope. It appears that someone deliberately programmed a shopping app that requires you to give access to your camera before you can shop.
I would love to have seen the proposal on this “a great new shopping app for our customers but with a fun twist - we don’t let them shop!” Lol

Stuck on scan
Open the app and couldn’t get past the “ Scan your candle to unlock the Magic” Stuck at that screen and COULD NOT get out of it. So disappointing because I wanted an easy way to order!

Needs work
Takes forever to get the picture lined up and to load. Did they realize they were putting a flat picture onto a ROUND surface when they developed this? Not worth the $10 in my opinion.
Yankee candle video app
Doesn’t work as well with Android phone the app is totally different then on a I phone. Hard to open on a android.
Too hard to line up Candle
Too hard to line up Candle. Spent twenty minutes trying to get video to play.
Cute idea but...
I was able to get the video to load in the store but once I got home, I can't seem to get it to work. Not sure why that is, but it's a problem and there are no tips or support.
