Seriously?

I just tried you app and its is terrible, i am glad you didn’t get any investment in this shifty app. in addition your attitude on the episode was extremely bad, very bad, very very bad. I mean come on you used siri voice in the app, and that ridiculous guy with the fluffy beard and glass’s voice with his terrible accent, no way for children to learn. Please do us all a favour and remove this app, you are polluting the app store and the future of our children’s reading.

Phenomenal! Would highly recommend!

I’ve recently download yap books to help my youngest daughter who is struggling to read. Her attention is very short when it comes to books and reading but this app has worked wonders! She adores the animations, silly sounds and is obsessed with collecting the stars and badges. Thank you and would highly recommend!!

This app has a lot of potential! My main criticism is that the speech is not punctuated correctly. Punctuation marks are often left out of speech in the stories, which is an awful shame. Try contacting Twinkl to look at their apps too.

Really good concept if they fix the glitches

Saw these guys on Dragons Den so thought I would try out the app for my son. I almost deleted the app as it was not recognising my voice and just wasn’t working and kept freezing. But I persisted then miraculously it started to work but still very glitchy.
The cursor wasn’t moving quick enough to match my words (and I was reading very slowly). Seems like it would be a good app for kids if they could just fix the bugs so for now only 3 stars from me

I think this might be the reason why they had 70,000 users but only a thousand active.

We heard your concerns loud and clear and have taken it upon ourselves to include a number of teachers in the development and testing stages of the Yap Books app. Thank you for your feedback and hopefully our new updates will offer a better user experience for you and your child/children.

Amazing

I’ve never seen a book do what this app does, so good for getting my children to read aloud and being able to check their progress whilst doing so. Very smart I will recommend to my children’s school.
