yapyap go speaks your language now. Open Settings, App, and Language and pick one of 181. Each language says how much of it is translated, so you can see what you are choosing. Leave it alone, and the app follows your phone. Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Urdu turn the whole screen around. Your recordings are transcribed in your language too. Every phone used to transcribe in English whatever it was listening to. The language now follows the app, and the picker offers only the languages your phone can really hear. A language your phone stops offering says so, instead of quietly becoming another one. FIX A WORD, AND IT STAYS FIXED Correct a line in a transcript. The correction survives the next pass. It also teaches the vocabulary, so the next recording spells the name right the first time, on every device that shares the library. QUICKER TO GET AROUND • Search sits in the list, where iOS keeps it • Drag the timeline, and the words follow your finger • Sharing is one row, and it asks for which format only after you say you want to share • A library of thousands of recordings opens without the wait FIXES • Imported audio transcribes again. A file that was not already a WAV was handed to the engine unread, and the run failed. • A transcription that fails says so and picks itself up when you come back.
