Makes walks more interesting
What I like most is that it doesn’t just tell you the name and stop there. The short story and background about each plants make learning much more personal. I’v start to noticing plants I use to walk right past, every walk feels like I am discovering something new. It’s become one of this app I open because I am curious , not because I have to

Thank you, this is exactly what we hoped the stories would do. A name on its own is easy to forget, but the fact that a plant was carried across an ocean, or used as medicine 500 years ago, tends to stay with you. That is why we write them. One thing you may not have noticed: every scan is saved in your history, so a few months of walks quietly turns into a record of your own neighbourhood. Enjoy the next one.
Actually useful for a beginner
The advice is straightforward and usually answers exactly what I’m wondering, like whether a yellow leaf means too much water or not enough. I still forget to check the app sometimes, but my plants definitely look better than they did before.

Congratulations on the new place, and thank you for writing this. Coming for identification and staying for the care side is exactly the path we designed for. On forgetting to check in: you should not have to. If reminders are not on yet, turn them on, and put the widget on your home screen, it shows what needs water today, so the app comes to you instead of the other way round. Your plants sound like they are in good hands.
