Horrible app

There is no way to make a decent design. You are unable to add things to a specific location. The ai pits plants and designs on concrete and placing you want

Not complete

The app gives a list for purchases and an estimated construction cost, however it does not give a construction or planting map.

Planning Around Existing Trees

We wanted to refresh the yard without removing the two trees that were already there. I mapped out the existing features first, then worked around them to plan beds and a shaded sitting spot.

Testing Different Garden Ideas

I had three different ideas for the backyard and wanted to compare them before starting. I could test curved beds, a straight border, and a small tree area without moving anything in the actual yard.

Visualizing the Backyard

Our backyard looked fine on paper, but I could not picture how the new beds would fit. This gave me a clearer view of the space and helped me move the seating area away from the busiest walkway.

Ai slop

App needs work. Output is random ai slop

Gave me the plant list, not just a pretty render

Most AI landscape design apps stop at a pretty picture. I uploaded a photo of my backyard, said what I wanted, and got a redesign plus the plants that would actually survive where they were planted, quantities I’d need to get that look, and a shopping list with prices. Whoa!

It turned "this would look nice" into something I could take to a garden center. I didn't know what grows in shade and what looks good where before. Now I do.

Caught $10K mistake before I made it

I live in Boston. I was about to buy plants for my development property and had no idea some of what I wanted is banned in Massachusetts. YardPlan flagged Japanese barberry before I bought it. That was a $10K mistake I caught instead of made.

Got a plan for my actual zone, then iterated a few styles fast enough to see how the front yard and garden would really look. I went in with decision anxiety and came out knowing what to buy

Handy plant picks based on zone body

Made my research so easy by providing plant options based on my zone and took the guesswork out and gave me a quick, doable list for updating my front yard

Fun to use with a real plan of execution & cost

Easy to navigate and it customized the plant list which made brainstorming a fresh look for my backyard enjoyable. Thanks to cost breakdown and execution hours, I know exactly what I’m signing up for!

Great editing features

What sold me is the editing tbh. I asked it to swap the flowers for rocks, and it brought my exact plants back like it remembered the whole thing, crazy.

Good for quick backyard ideas

Tried the app with a few outdoor options for my backyard and the results were amazing. I would recommend this app for anyone looking to quickly visualize a DIY project for their backyard.

Great app

Great app for virtually change and try new ideas on your backyards and garden
