Looks like the app was updated
The previews reviews had mentioned things like search functionality missing. This new version has fixed it for a free app. It’s great for keeping track of all my yarn. Can’t wait to see what else gets added later.
Unable to edit
Looks promising, but I was unable to edit a yarn due to the popover being off the screen.
ENTIRE STASH DELETED
There are no words. The amount of work that I put into cataloging everything. I updated the app and it deleted everything. The hours. Just. No. Words. How could you???
Really cool
This app is really cool, exactly what i needed.
I just wish you could create your own yarn categories, to categorize them by material, project, etc…

Disappearing stash
How could you update this app without any sort of plan to save the inventory that was in the old version? And without any warning? I opened my app today to find it’s been updated and revamped and my entire stash is gone. It took many hours of work to go through all my yarn and input it to the app and I have faithfully added new yarn as I acquired it. Now I have to do it again if I want to use this app. It’s an overwhelming task that I’m not inclined to do. So disappointing.

Loving the new update. Perfect way to help me keep on top of what I have for my patterns!
Great idea, bad app
This app is no different then having a list on your phone. You should be able to put the name of the yarn on a search bar and it should pull up the information (photo, yardage, weight…) there’s only a space for name, color, materials and weight, which you have to input yourself, there’s no space to add yardage or color name. Ideally it should not only pull up all the information from the brand and name of the yarn but also calculate your yardage after you input the amount of skeins. The idea is great but the app is not good.

No search
I have a lot of yarn. After I go through the work of listing it all with your lovely category listing, is there no search for me to be able to look for some thing? Also I premier yarn makes all kinds of yarn cotton acrylic big little and it needs to be sub categorized I understand this is supposed to be a simpleBut there needs to be at least a searchThis app has a lot of potential just needs tweaking

Needs improvement to work effectively
After entering in a small amount of my yarn stash it became apparent that I couldn’t delete an entry once it was made. There is no entry for yarn weight or ply or quantity other than number of skeins. I was hoping for more detail so I’ll try another app.
