A faster, smoother 1.10: • New: an Animation quality slider in the dashboard editor — turn it down to save battery, or up for a crisper scene • A more detailed night sky — the stars have been redrawn and fade gently in and out with the clouds • Softer light and smoother transitions between day, night and changing weather • More of the weather scene now moves as you tilt your phone, and the motion is smoother than before • New: sunrise and sunset now sit in the hourly timeline at their exact time — scrub to one and the sky moves with it • New: saved places show their own local time and their own sky • Much faster — the radar preview, the timeline and the weather tiles do far less work while you scroll • Sections fold instead of jumping — more days, the rating card and the dashboard editor grow and shrink in place • Lighter on your battery — animations pause off screen, the scene eases to a standstill under a collapsed header, and the motion sensor is only read while your phone is moving • The weather scene waits for your data before it starts animating • Picking a day now hides the hourly timeline instead of showing hours that do not apply • Fixed: the animation at the top no longer flickers while it collapses • Fixed: coming back to the app refreshes the selected place when its forecast has gone stale
