Great functionality
I’ve been using a YB tracker on our boat for almost a decade now and this app enables some great functionality held within the tracker itself. The tracker can stay on the guard rail and you can send and receive messages from the comfort of the boat. Well thought out piece of software
Doesn’t work
Tried to connect on many occasions and after buying £20 of credits, not been able to use any all the way across the Atlantic. Device name comes up as Unknown, along with numerous others prior to departing the marina. Not thought through properly!
App not working
Not impressed with this so far. No devices found for over 2 hours. Reloading the app doesn’t work.

Expands on YB3 capability
Not sure why there is one one-star rating. I’ve used the app for several years. The big plus is that it allows email and text communication (outgoing) for nearly anybody using the phone (limits on the YB3 by itself are substantial). Having had the device in a backpack and been in a tent with phone, it was nice that the Bluetooth connection carries a fair distance. Setting everything up is mildly clunky, but once done all is good. Can control tracking pretty cleanly. You do need phone online for setting up some parameters (eg to use twitter or Facebook from YB3). For its purpose, it works just fine.
