About

Yearbell is the birthday reminder that actually reaches you in time. Add the people you care about, and Yearbell quietly keeps track of every birthday so you never have to. Get reminded days — or weeks — ahead, right in your own timezone, so you always have time to call, send a card, or pick up a gift. Why you'll love it • Reminders that fit your life — choose how far ahead you want each nudge: days, weeks, or months before the big day. Set a default lead time, or customize it per person. • Timezone-aware — reminders arrive at the right moment for you, wherever you are, whether by push notification or email. • See what's coming — a clean dashboard shows who's next, how many days until each birthday, and highlights the birthdays happening today. • Remember the details — save each person's relationship, age, and your own notes, so you always know who you're celebrating. • Mark it done — tap "wished" once you've reached out, and keep your list tidy. • Sign in your way — use your email, or continue with Google or Apple. • Private by design — Yearbell is about the people close to you. Your list stays yours. No ads, no tracking. Whether it's family, friends, coworkers, or that one friend whose birthday you always forget — Yearbell makes sure you're the person who remembers. Download Yearbell and never miss a birthday again.

What's New in Yearbell

1.1.2

October 24, 2026

- No OS permission prompt at cold launch (the old reflex-deny moment is gone). - A soft "Turn on reminders?" sheet after the first person is added; the real OS dialog only fires on "Yes, remind me". - Persistent, dismissible recovery banner on the Home dashboard when notifications are off → one tap to OS Settings; retires itself once permission is granted. - Settings "Push notifications" row is now an honest status switch reflecting real OS permission (taps through to Settings) instead of a dead toggle. - Fixes found in on-device testing: banner now refreshes across tabs; banner now retires after enabling permission in Settings.
