Yearn is an envelope budgeting app that automatically funds your bills and savings goals on your schedule - so you always know what's Free to Spend. Yearn was created by it's founder to help him save when no other budgeting apps or tools seemed like they were designed for his earning style. Most budgeting apps are set up strictly to work with a single, known recurring income sources like W2 salaries. For hourly workers, contractors, gig workers, and hospitality workers, the standard budgeting template seems to fall short. Yearn was designed with everyone in mind, using a well known and simple budgeting technique called envelope budgeting. Simply put, you create an envelope, give it a due date, and an amount, then set up a recurring funding date in the future, and Yearn figures out the rest. Yearn automatically figures how how much money is needed for each bill based on it's due date, and the funding frequency you select.
