Be better

I really wish my school would stop using Yellowdig. It constantly glitches, and it’s becoming more frustrating than helpful. There have been multiple times where I clicked Submit, only to realize later that my post never actually went through. Even worse, my drafts don’t save, so if something goes wrong, I have to start all over again.

Today alone I spent almost 20 minutes just trying to attach a file. It feels like such a waste of time. Every time I submit a post, the app also asks me to leave feedback, but after I do, the prompt never disappears. That makes me wonder if my feedback is even being submitted.

It’s ironic because Mr. Johnson talks about identifying inefficient processes, and Yellowdig feels like a perfect example. Instead of making class discussions easier, it creates unnecessary obstacles and takes time away from actually learning.

Too glitchy

Too laggy, glitchy, and hard to keep track of content.

Glitchy and not optimized for mobile layout

I experience a ton of glitches when using this app. It is also not well modified from the web version to have a good mobile layout. These things really limit its usability

Needs major help

Too many bugs to be used efficiently. I understand the goal but this app needs help between freezing in comments and drafts never saving.

Great for On The Go

App is solid and useful to use when adding thoughts to my YD communities. App stability got better in 2026

Just use web instead

A frustrating app on mobile that won’t even let you sign in without using the “magical sign-in link🤭🌹✨” that has never delivered to my mailbox nor my junk folder. A useless app with a vague purpose, just use the web version on safari instead, at least they let you sign in with your password on there.

Okay, but needs improvement

This is a good app and I enjoy the simplicity of the app. However, when you go to try and save a draft, it only saves 50% of the time. It is not necessarily user-friendly in the fact that you can’t use swipe to text and then select the word. It does not allow you to do that and will sometimes delete the whole word. Just some glitches and bug fixes would improve the app.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the feedback on simplicity—we are glad you enjoy that! We are sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with saving drafts and the text input/swipe-to-text functionality in version 1.4.30. Losing a draft is unacceptable, and we prioritize fixing these bugs immediately. Since you left this review, we've released version 1.4.32. Could you please check to see if you are on the very latest version? If the draft saving issue still persist in the latest version, please reach out to our support team at support@yellowdig.com so we can gather more details on this issue. Thank you for helping us make our mobile app better for everyone! We look forward to making it better with each update. Sincerely, The Yellowdig Team

App

Yellowdig makes learning feel like a real conversation, not a checklist. Its easy to use, encourages genuine interaction , and helps
students connect and share ideas.

wth

Nothing loads in the app. It even says on the main page that there is a post but when I enter the community, nothing shows up.

Rarely works

Worked when I first downloaded but over time just stopped working. Frequently logs me out and requires me to sign in through school or browser. App doesn’t match web based content. I’m better off using YD through the web.

Loving the mobile version

I truly enjoy the ability to post and reply while on the go.

Don’t bother

This is the kind of app that even the people who make it don’t use.

Major changes needed

Crashes frequently. Can’t see my own posts, therefore, can’t view or reply to comments on my posts. Also can’t view somebody’s profile.

Response from developer
