Frozen

Contacted developer about game freezing after I was halfway through it. They did not fix it and did not refund my money. Tried to get in to start over and the whole thing is frozen, can’t even play.

Update: had to start over from the beginning. Not cool.

Update: As of version 1.11, all items can be returned by tapping on an empty space in the inventory area. Hello, and thanks for playing the game! Simply tap on the selected item again - in your inventory - and it will return back to it. Hope that helps.

Die Retro-Grafik gefällt mir. Es gibt nur ein Problem: die Click-and-Point-Bedienung funktioniert nicht richtig. Es ist ein Krampf: Du hast den Lösungsweg, kannst aber die notwendigen Handlungen nicht ausführen, weil sich der Pflock nicht aus der Hand legen lässt oder die geöffnete Inventarleiste Dir das Aufheben eines Knochen verleidet. Schade!

Crashes Every 2 Minutes

I love this type of game, but it becomes non-responsive every 3-5 minutes and the app needs to be restarted, losing my progress. The final straw was when I accidentally saved while it was glitching and lost an hour of painstaking progress. Immediate rage app delete. Hopefully they’ll fix this game one day because it had potential.

Annoying to play

The inventory makes the game annoying to play. I was constantly having to try several times to pick up an item, then do the same to get it to go back into the inventory. Also, moving around in the game is frustrating. There is a map for the larger area, but when in the towns you have to walk the character back and forth constantly, and often the character would move right to the edge of the screen, but not move to the next. Trying to tap the exact spot to get him to go had me tapping the character instead, or tapping several times resulting in the character going back and forth. Also, too many times I simply could not find an item because the hot spots were just too small, or too close to another item making them difficult to pick up. Several times I had to consult a walkthrough just to figure out where an item was, or that I was supposed to be able to pick it up. The story was amusing at times, but at other times had me wondering what the point of something was as it had no bearing on the story. Why is the donkey even there? I think this game could have been fleshed out a lot, and it would have been a really good game.

thanks for your feedback! in latest version 1.12 we have enlarged the exit areas, hopefully it's not that frustrating now. for the hotspots, you can tap and hold on the Inventory bag to see them on screen and make sure you didn't miss smth. noted about the donkey, need to see what to do abt it :)

Too glitchy

Cute story line but could not get out of certain places when game would have a glitch. Gave up on it.

Glitch!

Cannot remove the sword from the stone. Have tried two different options from different walkthroughs and nothing works. Cannot finish the game!

Thank you for playing the game. We understand that you have a problem picking up the sword. Yes, there are a few old walkthroughs on Youtube that show that using the piece of cloth on the sword will allow the player to pick it up. That’s not possible! It was an old bug that allowed this behavior and it has been fixed since then. Feel free to contact us if you need some help, but please know that this is not a bug or a glitch.

SLOW AND BORING

Please avoid this game. Really poor UX and gameplay. For the following reasons:

- Cut scenes are way too long.
- Unskippable dialogue is slow and boring.
- Navigation is really fiddly - all the main buttons are squeezed into a tiny bar at the bottom.
- No option to switch off the irritating music - the game just reduces the volume of whatever you are listening to.
- No hints.

We are sorry you didn't like the game; noted also your feedback / comments and thanks for that (btw the dialogue is skippable unless you mean in some specific parts? Intro is also skippable with long tap). In any case, we hope you give it another chance in the future :)

Klassisches Adventure

Super Spiel im Stil aller klassischer Point and Click Adventures. Witzige Dialoge und nette Charakter. Wem Lucas Arts Spiele gefallen, hat auch hier seinen Spass! Einziges Manko: die Hotspots sind sehr klein, und Items manchmal schwer zu entdecken.

Fantastic

So nice to have a good point and click adventure to get my teeth into, I’ve loved every game from this dev team. This one really reminds me of monkey island with its sense of humour,great characters and quirky story. Add to that inventory items to use and puzzles to solve and you have a brilliant game. Also their support is excellent as I had a blonde moment and needed help and they replied straight away. Don’t hesitate to get this gem.

Bug?

I am unable to put down items in my inventory. If I try to use an item and it doesn’t work, it just stays and I can’t put it down or do anything

Ruim, não tem estorno logo não comprem

Sou apaixonada por point and click, logo fui direto experimentar esse jogo. Mas ele é muito ruim, não há nada de intuitivo e a jogabilidade é péssima, com movimentos lentos…. Muito ruim!!

Updated review after finishing the game

I was able to finish after the new bug fixes. I enjoyed it, it was fun and silly. I wish the puzzles were more difficult but it’s obviously aimed at a young audience and would be appropriate for that demographic.

Cons: A bit too short. The hotspots are too small. And I never fed that guy’s pet.

Kind of buggy right now

After a point, the inventory backpack suddenly disappeared on me, not sure what caused it. The changelog says they fixed one case, but there’s still others.

Also, the intro goes black at the end of it and you have to hold to skip it to continue.

Edit to dev response: ok cool on the fix. I don’t recall when exactly it happened though, possibly when I was looking around the greater area as I hadn’t noticed that hotspot initially.

I tried restarting the app, which usually fixes bugs, but nope. I found later that it’s actually still there, just invisible.

Update: I can get past the intro by long pressing to skip, but now the inventory disappears specifically after “better leave him study”

Freezes after intro

I tried to report the bug on the website but they don’t have this game listed yet.

The intro montage plays and then after the last screen fades to black and the music fades it freezes. It gets stuck on the black screen.

After a restart the intro will play again and freeze again
