Crash on launch Mac OS 26.0.1

I just purchased the game and it crashes on launch with a Mac Mini M4 Pro running Mac OS 26.0.1.

Great and difficult

This version especially reminds me of when I first started playing pixel dungeon and has an energy about it that is more authentic and true to true original then shattered or other versions. If it’s too difficult I would recommend starting on easy to get a hang of it.

Poorly supported port of another's mod?

I understand there are many Pixel Dungeon variants and the "Yet Another Pixel Dungeon" is a decent one, but if the rumors are true, this is a third party selling this variant as their own. If true, TACKY. I'll happily change this review if I'm wrong.
