It's well written, until I got to a bit where Luke was staring too close to me and whatever my reaction to that was it would go back to the choice to go to go check out the factory or to go alone

I like the ideas behind the setting for this game, but technical flaws and pacing issues with the narrative hindered my enjoyment.
Kinda fun but forgettable
I enjoyed the humor in this game, but the many bugs and lack of depth made it underwhelming. It was alright, which some good moments, but I have no interest in even a second play through.

I love it, it's just amazing, It definitely deserves five stars. I like it so much! I hope you will make more in the future. But on one of the choices it said avuncular of them and one said I had already tried it and I hadn't. But I was wondering if everyone got that like if it was a mess up. Or if it was just me, but anyways, I really love the game. Five stars!

Short, not terribly interactive and only one partner. Decent, not excellent.
Not much depth
None of the characters you meet grow on you, your relationship with Lucy depends on one single blatant choice, the monsters you meet you only meet once or twice and the endings don't change with what you do, but what you pick to do at the end of the game, making the entire game useless.
It also doesn't help that each ending is only one page of poor explanations of what happens next

Good game
Endings are terrible though. I've completed the game twice and got 3 different endings. None were good. Not talking about the "happy" good either.
It feels like half a game. It's interesting but I'm disappointed that I actually had to spend money it.

Disappointing
I am amazed how people gave this a five star review. They obviously haven't played other COG or HG Games with great stories and choices. The story was not that interesting, characters as well. And above all your choices had no impact on the game whatsoever.
Refreshing
I really enjoyed the comical, tongue in cheek flow of this one. Very well written. As with most other interactive novels, I found myself slightly peeved with the slightly unbelievable and out of character happenings that lead up to romancing the partner but overall I enjoyed it. That, doubled with the fact that it's pretty short, is why I deducted one start. Otherwise, it was great.

So close to my childhood!
Good, interesting and fun story. Good play and character development. Reasonable choices and endings. Even good story concept. Still, only 4 stars because nothing about the book is outstanding.
Love choice of games
I have always loved these games and don't mind paying a couple of dollars for them but it is great having the sample chapters before committing to buying, I'm particularly loving the pop-culture references like "prisoner 24601" and naming my ship "serenity" keep up the amazing games :)
Great Game
This is my favorite choice if games I've played. Of the ones I've played, I fell like this one has the best story, and I don't think I'll get tired of it for a long time.
