Not working today
Today the YMCA app on my cell phone showed all classes being held on schedule when in fact they were all canceled so I got up extra early and went out in the cold for no reason. To say I’m annoyed is an understatement!
Pretty good with one issue
The app is recently been upgraded to sync quicker with other apps like Apple health.
It would be nice if this app sent data out to something like Apple health in Strava

YMCA app
Generally this app is easy to use. It is great how it integrates into the EGYM and my Fitbit. More functionality would be nice on the part of ymca to increase reporting to the app , things like smart treadmills.

Mediocre
To keep class sizes down, the Y requires pre-registration. Yet 14 months into the pandemic, the Dane county YMCAs have yet to support class registration for away members (on the app or website). If you want a spot, the only way to reserve one is to call an employee working the front desk, ask if they’re willing to register for a given class themselves, and give their name as yours if the list is checked.

Functional app
Get for checking schedules. I’ve used the bar code feature to check-in (make sure it’s enabled head of time). I have my fitbit linked which makes participating in challenges effortless ;)

Have no been able to open the app, it crashes as soon as I try to open it!
