Terrible
One would think that since the YMCA in DSM is having financial problems they would at least have an app that communicates needed information. Not so.
We got on the app (again) and tried to figure out when the Pools were open. Wellmark downtown was possibly closed hard to say (the pool there is closed most afternoons!?), so we went 25 minutes out to Waukee. Turns out the info on the app was not correct and the Pool was closed… So 25 minutes back home. (Walnut Creek pool is awful and often closed)
We asked the person at the front desk when the pool is open. She whips out the app and after 5 minutes or so could not figure it out either.
Sometime it will say a pool is only open for 45 minutes, UNLESS you read the small print that says it is really open for 3.5 hours. Unless it is closed.

Finding entry can be hard
Love keeping track of my workouts, but sometimes it’s hard to find the right entry.
I LOVE The Waukee YMCA
Boy oh boy is this place great. And the app is almost as good! The employees are awesome, especially the upstairs staff! This place is really the cultural centerpiece of Waukee.
