I downloaded it. But the screen shows DuckDuckGo. It is a browser. Not player.

The browser is a core part of the app. It lets you watch videos ad-free, use PiP mode, and download files. Once downloaded, you can play them from the Files tab in the app.

Vous pouvez télécharger n'importe quel fichier en visitant l'URL dans le navigateur intégré. Une fenêtre de téléchargement apparaîtra automatiquement. Pour les vidéos, le téléchargement fonctionne si le site le supporte.

잘 쓰고 있는데 개선됐으면 하는게 있어서 리뷰 남겨봅니다.
1. pip모드로 영상을 볼 때 위치를 세밀하게 조정하는 옵션 - 현재는 각 모서리 4군데로만 pip를 둘 수 있는데 저는 왼쪽이나 오른쪽 중간즈음에도 두고 싶은 경우가 있어 설정옵션이 있으면 좋겠네요

2. 아이폰 회전잠금 상태에서도 동영상 전체화면시 가로로 긴 영상은 자동으로 90도 회전하는 옵션 추가 - 저는 아이폰 화면이 이리저리 움직이는게 싫어서 화면회전을 고정하고 쓰는데 이러면 가로로 긴 영상은 방향그대로 늘어나기만 하고 검은 공간이 너무 많이 생기네요. 혹시 화면비율을 감지하고 자동으로 화면 회전되는 옵션을 넣어주실 수 있을까요?

3. pip로 영상 자동재생 켜놓고 다음영상 넘어가면 pip가 사라지는 버그 - 의도된 건진 모르겠는데 영상 넘어갈 때마다 앱 매번 실행해서 pip 버튼 누르는게 번거롭습니다.

Easy to use and no ads!

I subscribed for the lifetime offer tonight and I’m more than happy. no delay with YouTube video playback, no ads and perfect picture in picture mode lets me play video while working on other tasks in the background. Happy to recommend it.

Please update to the latest v6.1.0 that fixes this bug, as we recently had an issue with our Ad provider. Sorry for any frustration caused with excessive ad serving and we'd be glad to hear your updated feedback about the new app version.

I wanted to like it…

But I found it difficult when I started a download and ad took up the full screen and at first I thought okay well I didn’t pay for the app and developers have every right to recoup what they spent their time making. Plus I knew there was an option to pay for the removal of ads so if I liked the app I could and intended to do that. Developer makes their money and I no longer to be violated through the harvesting of my browsing habits by advertisers. Win, win. The positive is I didn’t have to pay money to learn if the app was worth the buying and I’m glad that I didn’t cause it didn’t work how I expected. So after few full screen ads and about 75% of my file has been downloaded I step away from the phone for maybe 4 or 5 minutes. I come back and a full screen ad is up again and I go to close it, only it won’t close. It’s not frozen mind you if I touch the wrong part of the full page ad (basically anywhere that isn’t the X in the top left corner the ad triggers safari to open and take me to the web page of the ad the app displayed. After closing said web page and safari I go back to the app and the ad is still there. The X still highlights when tapped but still didn’t close the app. After launching safari several times I finally hard close the app. There’s a notification bubble with the number 1 but when I open the app there is no file the download is gone. No partially completed nothing to tell me that it failed. Nothing I haven’t a clue what the notification bubble was there to tell me as there weren’t any notifications. To be fair because I couldn’t close the ad it’s possible the download hadn’t finished. It should’ve but maybe it didn’t but what grinds my gears is the not knowing what happened as well as the use of intrusive ads and their hijacking phone functionality. So given that I didn’t pay for the app, I’m not too more annoyed, disappointed but wanna share my experience maybe I’ll give the app a try again once it’s been updated but as for now I’ll keep looking for a download manager that works on iOS.

Can be a great alterantive

1. Give pause and resume download option highly needed
2. If you giving browser atleast give full fledge it hlf baked or just remove the bowser and keep the downloader only

Hello, you can download any filetype you want (e.g. .doc files) by just visiting the URL on the in-app browser. A download prompt will popup giving you the option to download the file.
