We're sorry for the confusion! YOMU is a reading tracker and motivation app that works alongside the books your kids are already reading - there's no audio or text content inside the app itself. We received a support message about this and responded within the hour. We're a small, passionate team and take every message seriously - if that was you, our response might have gone to your spam folder. You can also always email us directly at support@yomu.com Here's how it works: your child reads their own books as usual, then logs their sessions in YOMU to earn rewards, build streaks, and develop a reading habit. Thanks for the feedback Nick! We're absolutely working on a solution for adding books that you were mid way reading before starting to use YOMU. We're avid book readers ourselves, and that has always bugged us too. Fun reading app for kids!
As a parent, I love that I can see how many sessions of reading they’re logging and also keep a log of what books they’ve read this year. As a book logger myself 🤣, I think this is a great way to review your reading habits and celebrate the different stories you’ve read.
They just had an update where you can toggle between readers for seasons which is the best update they could’ve made!! Definitely made tracking easier for my two kids that share a device.
The team has been really responsive to feedback and we’re excited to continue using YOMU!
