The video ads that pop up are so annoying. Theyโre making me not want to use the app.

My daughter is 5,600 miles away in South Korea ๐ฐ๐ท, so itโs important for me to know whatโs happening there, and with โRocket Manโ a little further north.
The information is trustworthy, Iโve never had any problems, and being in English certainly helps.

Needs better design
Interface looks messy and crammed with so many headlines to the same news and in seemingly random places. On top of that, now you need to press on the notification tab to get rid of the annoying red dot that shows new headlines. Opening the new headlines should get rid of it automatically, but it doesnโt.

News doesnโt update frequently enough
Sometimes more than 12 hours will go by before any updates or anything new is posted. News apps are 24 hours these days. Yonhap needs to step their game up.
After update the app wonโt open
After updating to the latest version 3.0.1, the app wonโt open with a message โFailed to access menuโ.
Would have given it 0 stars.
Old news, sports news leaves a lot to be desired. Every section itโs the same news. Hire me as your consultant Iโll design a better app for you guys.
Not worthy
Every news pops up as URGENT. App falls behind other popular news apps in terms design, intuitiveness. Yonhap halfassed it.
Bad update
I recently updated this app and it no longer works on my iPhone. Tried reinstalling to no avail. I hope they fix the bugs in the new version.

No longer works
This app was good but now it just crashes every time I go onto the app.
Link never opens
The news content is great but whenever we share any article, "article view" link never opens. An error page appears every time making it difficult to share any article. If that were to be fixed, it would be a 5 star app.

Looks nice problem is none of the current stories are linked to the headlines. Click title A and get story G. You basically have to click around until you find the one you were looking for and hope you get it.

Useful Tool
Good, but its definitely a work in progress. As of this date, needs to 'snych' better in categories & lessen the overlap of news in the different categories. When it lists the weather, it seems to be all jumbled in a line...so that needs text improvement too. Yet, if you live in South Korea, this is a good app because it gives English speaking foreigners another way to read the news on the go. It helps you know whats going on around you locally. Recommended!
