So great, but so expensive
I genuinely feel like this app does everything I really want with all of my pictures, but it is just so expensive. The most affordable option should be monthly rather than paying $80 upfront for an entire year. I feel like if they lowered the price so many people would Buy this outright. It’s just not reasonable for most people. Either make it a flat rate of about 30-40 bucks or give the option of charging maybe 6.99 monthly. Most people can’t throw out $80 upfront for an app, but if they would allow you to pay that same price monthly, I think most people would feel that’s more doable.

No refunds for accidental purchase
Stuck with this useless app thanks to a free trial installed by my child, now £80 gone without warning - no reminders to cancel and no refund option available. It’s so much money - gutted. No help at all from the developers or Apple. AVOID!!! 😞

Very Disappointed.
As a long time subscriber I’m very disappointed with the time I’m wasting on this app. The AI regularly claims that I’m using sensitive images, which I never have nor would, which was been verified in several emails from YouCam MakeUp claiming that the images are fine & the AI is falsely triggering the response. Now there’s the added problem of generated clips not saving to my device & spending inordinate amounts of time with an AI Agent that is not fit for purpose. It’s false advertising and a violation of Australian Consumer Law. Do better.

Needs Improvement
If this were a free app, I’d give it five stars. But for those of us who are paying a yearly subscription, it needs improvement. Several things don’t function properly. For example, the “remove” feature flags a woman’s ankle sock as “inappropriate or sensitive content” and refuses to remove it. I now have an ugly sock in the middle of my photo that I can’t remove because this app is misidentifying it. Last week, it flagged a watermelon as inappropriate. A few months before that, it deemed my cat “inappropriate.” I know he’s orange, but being misidentified as an offensive body part is an insult to my cat.

FILTER DYSMORPHIA WARNING
(5 stars so it could be at top) As a girl who already struggles with body dysmorphia, THIS APP DOES NOT HELP!!! It only made me feel worse about myself and I was angry at myself because I don’t look like the filters. I got this app so I would finally feel comfortable sending selfies to my friends, but I ended up feeling even worse about my appearance. It makes natural facial imperfections seem wrong and like they need to be corrected. In a world when women and girls are made to feel like they aren’t enough, this app certainly amplified my insecurities. So ladies, I do not recommend this because it will only make you feel like you aren’t beautiful enough. You are perfect the way you are and you don’t need an app to change anything.

Not Happy Bluntly
OK, my thoughts on this app is it could be okay so I purchased the premium offer, disappointed to be honest!!! Hardly any use of items you can use unless you pay for Pro that’s a cost of 79.00 pounds and a bit more. So I decided to not go that way and will use the app until the subscription expires as it’s awful don’t be fooled guys I really thought the be more to offer as a premium user. There are better apps out there.
