So despite my innate fears of future internet sovereign identities, I saw this and it looks simplistic and benign by design, I decided I would give it a try. The defining factor being a privacy preserving app that disrupts the data collection efforts of big tech.
This product and company has a great website that was well designed, and clear about what they do, and their purpose. This is why you should always do your research folks, trust aint free to earn, so don't give yours away for free either. This company is literally a data mining software and protocol engineer, who does the very act they claim this app prevents. It essentially is to gather a profile on you for the model which you design fake identities for online. In other words, it helps make it harder to fake who you are and disrupt data collection. Their other products are essentially for data gathering, and they serve as something akin to a data broker as well. Learn to read, reread, and then read between the lines. The deceit continues to outwit the underachieving and uneducated.

YouID doesn’t capture any of your data (overtly or covertly) for use by OpenLink Software. It is simply a local credentials generator that runs on your computing device. Credentials generated by this app enable pseudonymous self-sovereign identity that can be authenticated cryptographically.
Totally hopeless
This was given a good try, dedicatedly going to the endless 404’s. Whatever it is supposed to do I am not totally sure. But whatever it is, I sure couldn’t get it to do anything whatsoever.

Crashes when you try to open home page and other built in links! Fix it and I will change to 5 stars
