Asinine Decisions
This app was great until they decided to allow Ai generated trash as legit photography posts. The whole point of photography including the word itself means taking images of life, light, and time itself through a camera. Writing some words in a prompt and pressing generate to have an algorithm mash together stolen photos from a massive machine learning database is not photography. Now they are also restricting users unless they pay premium just to post. Pure greed and a delusional team has destroyed what was once an amazing community.

Cheating on Subscription
I feel like I have just cheated on. I have subscribed with a promotion 50% but on the payment the whole fee has been taken. Trying to contact the support but their ‘contact us’ support is not working. Please get in touch and fix this

Absolutely shameful to be this greedy that you are now restricting profiles if they do not pay a premium for their account. I knew that this app was going downhill when they started to allow AI generated art. Absolutely disgusting, it's already bad enough on Instagram and that's why I went to youpic for uploading my photography because there were legitimate photographers on that app but then not only was the AI generated art becoming a problem, there was also an alarming amount of fetish photography of Asian women posted by older white men and the problem is we don't know if these women are of age because of how young they look. Very troubling to see the direction that this app has gone and I am deeply offended and disgusted.

Can no longer log in using Facebook, can not use app, after a few years of use
Bias and Double Standards
The app seemed ok and I liked the platform, the problem is the double standard they operate on with a bias. I’ve been a photographer for 30 years and work to put out quality work that tells a story. All the work I post is my own. That being said, I was warned about their bias by other users and they have gotten where they randomly pull down my work claiming I’m violating “site terms,” yet they can’t name what term. They will not even respond to queries. Don’t be like me and waste your money on a “ service” like this.

Don’t ever subscribe to this because they say you’re selected for a gallery(s). It’s a scam.
The new format of the site is also awful.

Useless App For Irrelevant Dying Platform
It’s another of the dime-a-dozen Instagram wannabes where you’ll get less engagement from viewers than their interval spam messages begging you to upgrade. They don’t like being called out for it. Happy to delete this junk which literally only has 1-star ratings. LOL

I have been a pro with youPic for 18 months continuously told I would be able to have their “shop” access to sell my images.

Now having my pro status revoked in spite of continuous payment of, being honest excessive charges for what you get. I am about to cancel my subscription.

Good app, simple to use. For some reason though, the option for pro no longer comes up, just the loading circular bar.
Login issues
Have reported login issues but nothing is fixed and they continue charge me. There isn’t a way to cancel the card or account. Scam.
Beware of Pro Membership & Shop - Broken!
I’ve used YouPic for 3+ years and in the past month or so trying to access the shop functionality as a Pro member results in a 502 Gateway error.
There’s zero ability to contact their support - it’s limited to FAQs.
It’s a pity as the website, app and photographer community there are good. But being charged $359.88 for any annual pro membership you can’t fully use is looking like a scam now.

DONT GET THIS APP
Locked out of my account, charged 350$, and absolutely no reply from customer service email. Scam don’t buy this app. Can’t get my money back and still can’t cancel account when I had already tried to before I was charged.
