What’s the point of an app?

Twice now this app has let me down! What is the point of having an app that takes you to a website? Not designed for devices any more. Had 4 items in the cart and no where to pay for it even after choosing how to pay for it! Did this 3 times and the same result! Useless! Locked me out came back next day and items are gone from the app! I didn’t pay for it.
