Really disappointing
I downloaded this for my 7 yr old but it is extremely basic, not at all engaging or fun for her to learn and is just a lady in a U.S. accent saying words, with no prior coaching on 'how' to learn the spellings. Would like a refund...

Thanks for your feedback. The technique in the app is based on look, cover and check used readily in schools. The child can look at the word, listen and then have a go at entering it. If you would like to contact us further please email us on support@yourappsforkids.com
Boring
This app was very boring. Also, it says the word your supposed to spell but doesn't say if it was spelled wrong until the very end of the list, so it doesn't really help a kid break the habit of spelling it wrong.
Disappointed
Regional accent make this difficult for anyone outside the US to understand.
Stupid accent
I’m an American, my child is American. Therefore, we speak American English. Having said that, it is really difficult to understand a lot of the words in this app because the speaker has a BRITISH accent! Also, some of the words have the British spelling. For example...favorite(American) vs favourite (Britain). Here are some ways to improve the app...give the option to change the accent and country of origin spelling, add more words (child completed all the words in less than a week), and create a better way of tracking progress.
