Crashes near Malibu
When you click through into an access point to see details, this works fine in most places but crashes the app on Malibu access points.

This app is a fabulous idea!! We moved recently from the east coast and as I find beach suggestions for us and our dog I try saving them to my google maps but it’s slow going. Now we can find them on-the-road as needed as we explore our new home state...and there are so many choices to enjoy!!! Thank you the making experiencing Cali even more fulfilling 👏

Great app for coastal explorers!
All of California's beaches are legally accessible by the public below the mean high tide line, despite the fact that rich homeowners constantly try to bend the law (I'm looking at you, Hollister Ranch and David Geffen). For the first time, this neat little (10MB!!) app gathers all the coast access points in one place. It's easy to use and a delight to navigate.
It's worth also downloading the excellent Our Malibu Beaches app, which has been around for a couple of years, if you're an LA area resident or visitor, but this is another GREAT addition to your phone. Get out there and enjoy what's rightfully yours...use this app and explore the unparalleled beauty of California's coast!

I was cheered to read about this in the paper, especially these days. It seems like this was a great solution to the problem, appropriate restitution that will increase awareness of and access to the coast. The app has worked great for me so far.
Fees?
This looks nice and I’m glad to have it, but the FEES category could use some explanation. The one beach I go to is listed as having fees, which is untrue if you are just going to hang out with your chair and friends.

Nice! But about those dogs...
I’m using an iPhone Xr and have had no issues with glitches or crashes.
The app is pretty great for exploring the beaches and nearby areas, however, I do have one strong suggestion.
Right now you can filter for “dog friendly”, but that’s pretty vague. I suggest that single filter be changed to three separate filters:
- Dogs Prohibited;
- Dogs Allowed On Leash, and;
- Dogs Allowed Off Leash.
This would be a very positive addition and much appreciated!

Kudos to the CCC for hammering out a deal for this app! And to Parker for being receptive to the need for an app like this. And to the developers for hanging in there to get it done right.
Needs satellite imagery base map
Awesome application. However, please add satellite imagery as an optional base map layer.
