Vielversprechend, viele Features aber noch Work in progress
Podcatcher der vor allem durch die Synchronisation über den offenen Standards heraussticht. Es besteht die Möglichkeit die abonnierte Podcasts, den aktuellen Stand von Wiedergabeliste und jeweils aktuell angehörtem Podcast zu synchronisieren. Verwendet wird dafür ein Protokoll das mit gPodder kompatibel ist. Damit kann man auch mit der eigenen Nextcloud synchronisieren.
Insgesamt sind sehr viele gute Features implementiert.
ABER: leider ist die schicke Oberfläche sehr träge, der zuverlässige Sync langsam und häufig. Abstürze sind leider die Folge. Positiv ist aber auch, dass es eine Watch App gibt die Podcast direkt auf der Uhr speichert und abspielt.
Insgesamt ist die App sehr vielversprechend aber noch Work in Progress.

Finally an iOS app with gpodder support!
I am absolutely thrilled that there is finally a great iOS app that supports gpodder synchronization! I used the app during the TestFlight phase, and initially, the gpodder sync wasn't working for me. However, after I submitted my feedback, the developer reacted incredibly fast and fixed the issue right away. Because of this amazing support and how well the app works now, I happily bought the full version.
The previous minor issues I mentioned have been resolved – thank you! For future updates, there is one new feature that would be extremely helpful: It would be great if downloaded episodes from unsubscribed podcasts also showed up in the "Downloaded" section. I frequently listen to single episodes of podcasts I don't subscribe to, and it would be fantastic to have a dedicated place to manage them other than just the queue.
Overall, a fantastic app that fills a huge gap for cross-platform podcast listeners. Highly recommended!

Ansich ein solider Podcast Player, bei dem aber noch essentielle Funktionen fehlen, wie Favoritenmarkierung, Eine Suche nach Folgen und automatische Sortierungsoptionen der abonnoerten Podcasts. Die Performance könnte auch smoother und flotter sein.
Warum ist in der unteren Tableiste eine „Podcast hinzufügen“ Option, wenn es schon auf der Startseite möglich ist? Somit könnte man die Tableiste entschlanken. Da ist auf jeden Fall noch viel Luft nach oben.

Finally they fixed the app!
Disregard my old review as with the new update it actually works like a charm. I don’t have to keep refreshing to get an episode to play again after having paused it!

Overhaul Update Ruined App
Had to switch back to Apple Podcasts because of how my RSS podcasts just straight up wouldn’t play following the huge update. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Hi Arthur! Please reach out to support if you're still having issues. All podcast feeds are RSS and we haven't received reports from other users regarding feed issues. Deleting the app, reinstalling, and re-syncing your podcasts should fix any upgrade issues.

There are just two minor things I noticed that could be improved in future updates:
1. When adding a new podcast, you have to press "Enter" on the keyboard to exit the menu. This feels a bit clunky and could be smoother.
2. When clicking "download" on an episode, there is no visual indicator or loading circle showing that something is happening. You only realize the episode has been downloaded if you leave the page and open it again.
Overall, a fantastic app that fills a huge gap for cross-platform podcast listeners. Highly recommended!
