To be honest, I know this is meant for kids, but I’m 10 and I wanna watch unspeakable real life and Preston real life and I honestly feel like it’s too protective for old kids, especially if the parents of the kids don’t let them use YouTube like me. YouTube kids is NOT safe. I don’t know who uploads or allows some of these videos but I set the app to where it should only be content in English and for some reason other languages like Chinese keep voicing on some of these videos. Then on top of that some of these videos I’ve caught my daughter watching are “normal” characters but they are teaching kids terrible things like how to hurt people or just make my daughter cry, and she just rewatches these things over and over and it just doesn’t seem like a healthy kid friendly platform. Whoever is approving some of these videos should be watching them first not just accepting it because it LOOKS kid friendly. Because allot of these videos are horrible and traumatizing. I will be deleting YouTube kids.

I wish I had yt tbh but I’m not allowed to but this is better than having nothing to watch 🤷♀️. It’s fun and has educational vids. All I want is the owner or whoever adds updates to this app would make it look more like real YouTube. Every time my friends come over I’m super embarrassed to show them that I still have yt kids and I don’t have yt like them 😭😂 overall, the app is amazing for younger kids . It is also great for ppl that get scared easily bc on yt u can scroll on some very frightening shorts…. Anyway yt kids is great! 👍

When I opened the app and watched a video, I realised the repeat or end line which is red has been removed, meaning a 1 hr video
Search
In the parents allowed only setting, you should add a search bar for kids to look up their videos. Also a favorites button on this setting. I don’t know if this works on the age setting I’ve always used the parents selection
