Keeps pausing
Every time that I listen to music with premium on my downloaded music, it keeps pausing even when I have service it keeps pausing, and my phone is on the black screen when you turn it off terrible needs updated

How can it be so bad?
With all the money that alphabet/google posses, how is it that this app is so garbage. Don’t get me wrong the actual algorithms and content in YouTube music is good, the app however is awful. Can’t even use it on CarPlay do you don’t pay for full premium? Why? I have premium pure and apparently I still can’t use it at all other than podcasts. Downloads are horrible. I live in an area where service isn’t always guaranteed, and it’s always a pain to get this to play my download songs. Again, why? Spotify does a great job.

please let me add a song to multiple playlists at once, like the normal youtube app does. right now you can only add a song to one playlist at a time.
it takes like 90 seconds to search new songs.
also sometimes it lags and takes long to select options for a song (play next, add to playlist, etc.)

Trash app
There is an ad after almost every single song, when I’m playing music I can’t click the 3 dots and add to my playlist, pandora just better overall
Not sharing in some videos I just updated and upgraded pls I will cancel I love music
I pay for it pls fix n just subscribed to £16.99 why are all my remixes not playing even with my upgrade
If you can’t play in the background it’s not a music app.
I have been using YouTube Music for couple of years now and decided to not renew the subscription. And voila I can’t use it anymore in the background. Other apps will at least let you play in the background with ads and some limitations but this is not acceptable. Unfortunately I’ll move to better music app which fulfills my needs.

I have used this app for a long time now. I discovered lots of songs I enjoy so much but I could never find them on other platforms.
But the excessive ads genuinely irritate me. I can not listen to one song without an ad blasting in my ear.

I really like YouTube music because I'm able to listen to a lot of songs and I don't need to pay to listen to anything but for some reason I can't get the lyrics of the songs I listen to but my mom can I'm confused.

They expect me to pay for multiple accounts now for my family of 4. I’m going back to Apple.

Buggy experience on iPhone 17 Pro Max despite various attempts. The offline experience kinda sucks too.

when i try to add nostalgic songs like trolls music or elaina of avalor it says “this song cant be added to playlist bc its made for kids.” right so i actually used to be a kid & still miss the songs i grew up with sometimes. why does yt music let kids listen to wap from cardi b but doesnt let adults listen to magic school bus theme song. make it make sense 🤦🏼♀️

No background play unless I pay? Literally even regular youtube has background play for free. Crazy.
Terrible performance
Do not get Youtube music if you need to rely on your phone or if you need to phone to last a whole day, terrible heat for just loading music.
Love this app
Everything about this app is better than Apple Music. Especially the after play and algorithm. The only issue is that the pinned songs eventually disappear after a certain amount and other songs show that I never pinned.
