LIMITED Music Catalog
This app does not have as much music as you think. There are many YouTube videos that are music themselves, but those videos do not appear in the YouTube Music app. The algorithm needs to change right away.

Horribly run app.
I can’t even exist on this app without being fed advertisement after advertisement, day in, day out. Constant ads, to the point it makes me want to get reverse lasik and drive a pencil in my ear just so I don’t have to see or hear them. Not to mention that you can’t even close the app or turn your device off, otherwise the app shuts off as well. Because being able to listen to music whilst you’re doing something else is apparently a “premium feature” when that’s a basic function of literally every other music app. Horribly run app, and I continue to look for other excuses to use legitimately any other music app.

Getting worse
Bugs now all over. Seems like corporation becomes greedy. Functions getting worse, and more bugs all over.
technically works i suppose
yeah it plays songs and playlists but the queue function is make believe and auto play is a suggestion. only using it because i pay for premium YT and competitors support ICE so i don’t have an alternative, but know i’m not happy with the “functions”
Unexpected pausing
The app recently within one of the last few updates now regularly pauses music randomly while playing. It has never had this issue and is quite frustrating. I am a software developer myself and find it very confusing how a bug like that could pop up randomly after the app working flawlessly for years in that respect… would be great to see this fixed as I do love this app

Either pay to go ad-free or hope your ads have some good music in them, that’s all you’ll ever get to listen to!
Millions of ads
Every time you play something it has to play an ad after wards which is fine but it will play 4 ads back to back with no skips and then when you can skip the ad it skips to another ad and unless you pay for this stuff you mainly listening to ads all day
I get ads are what make it free to use and listen on but like I still feel I listen to to many ads per song

Amazing but…
Log this app but there’s a few things that would be amazing for you to add. 1. The be able to select songs in a playlist to delete, like in photos. 2. An option to remove all duplicate songs in a playlist after they’ve already been added. Thank you.
Music now stutters between sogns
A recent update has broken continuous play.
If you are listening to a concept album, where each song is supposed to seamlessly transition into the next, there is now a jarring ~1 second gap that breaks the listening experience.

I love the app but it stop working on my phone like it say that I’m using YouTube Music signed out, but I wanna sign in but everything’s black except for the bottom bar. I keep clicking on everything It does nothing.

Please add remote play from different devices that are logged in. It seems like a pretty basic function this day and age but is missing from the app

Music in background should be an actual feature, I don’t want to pay $16 a month to have music in the background, everything else is good, but needing a whole subscription to have music in the background is crazy.
