Great for learning
I enjoy watching the YouTube videos to learn new material. I was able to expand my knowledge on microorganisms in standing water recently. I feel this platform is well suited for education versus other short social media apps/services that just have billions of people who produce useless content. Other sites result in “doom scrolling.” On YouTube I can watch a full length video and learn a skill or watch a documentary and learn something new. I do not like the AI generated videos/documentary videos with the generic voices and pictures. That’s annoying when I am interested in a particular topic and I end up on one of those.

From dynamic human content to AI Slop factory I will turn to another form of media before I give them $15 dollars a month because it’s much harder to find the content I’m looking for. Higher prices, & More ads and a worse user experience isn’t a product getting better.

on the Nintendo switch version of the app during videos the player gets laggy and often makes it really hard to browse what video you watch next and the ads on the Nintendo are ridiculous you can get a minute long ad and not be able to skip it until the last few seconds

What kind of idiocy with TV control are you constantly doing? Why the hell do I have to press 500 buttons to add one video to the TV playlist? Viewing the same playlist also applies.
