YouTunes: Music Player

YouTunes is a beautifully local-first music and video player. No account, no ads, no tracking — your library lives on your device and stays yours. BEAUTIFUL NOW PLAYING An album-art backdrop that comes alive, a full-screen cover and a pager you can flick through track by track. There are no clumsy transport buttons: playback is driven from the lock screen, the mini player and your headphones. KARAOKE-STYLE LYRICS Bring your own timed lyrics and watch them highlight word by word. YouTunes reads LRC, enhanced LRC, TTML and SRT, and can even show a video's subtitle track as synced lyrics. YOUR LIBRARY, ORGANIZED Browse by time, album or artist, search the whole library instantly, and build playlists that stay exactly where you left them. MAKE IT YOURS Fix up artwork, title, artist and album, and edit lyrics and subtitle tracks without leaving the app. Everything is written back into the file. OPTIONAL ICLOUD SYNC Keep your library in step across your devices with iCloud (CloudKit). Metadata and files sync privately to your own Apple account — or stay completely offline if you prefer. MADE FOR LISTENING Background audio, lock-screen and Control Center controls, a Share Extension to import from anywhere, a spectrum visualizer and CarPlay support for the road. PRIVACY FIRST No accounts, no analytics, no advertising. Your music and metadata never leave your devices unless you turn on iCloud sync.
