Big leap in stability improvements since the latest app and robot updates. The robot itself is very impressive and the fixes continue to make it closer to robrock line and a much better value overall. Now recommend.
More updates keep coming. Bumped up review from four to five stars to account for the incredible value of this robotic vacuum package. I paid 150 for a lidar mapping roboto!

My review echos the criticisms of others
Same criticism that others have. The vacuum is great, but the app is horrible. And since the app is the only way to control the vacuum, the constantly malfunctioning app makes it difficult to use the vacuum at its full potential.

After new update will not clean and can not find charging dock
App is worthless.
The vacuum works great however the app is trash. I can’t imagine this company would spend so much money on developing an awesome vacuum then fail at creating an adequate app to compliment it. Returning based upon the sole fact that the app is worthless and renders any features of this great vacuum moot.

Great robot, poor app
The robot, itself, is wonderful. I wish that I could say the same for the app. The app is far from user-friendly. The mapping feature doesn’t save or update, which makes the “no-go” zone a meaningless function; if the robot gets stopped for any reason, the map on the process of being created disappears; turning to manual mode won’t work. Really, the only things I can use the app for are: starting the robot, returning the robot to its port, finding the robot, and clearing error messages. It looks like hard work was put into creating the app, however, the app is just terrible, which means many of the “features” of the robot just don’t exist. If the vacuum didn’t do such a good job, I’d return the entire product.
