Challenging or Frustrating?
I read the reviews before purchasing this game. I thought how hard could it be? Well, I’m not sure if it’s challenging or frustrating. I’m stumped and using Hints far more often. Some actions make no sense. The graphics are good, but not crisp. I guess this is an older game in game years. Trying now to just take it slow and enjoy. Hopefully.

Confusing Game To Play
This game takes way too much time figuring out the many scenes to play to the point of not wanting to continue playing.
Mini game problems
A couple of the mini games that are easy to complete had to be skipped. 1 area on the right of the painting could not be painted. Another item could not be collected. Waste of money.

Glitch in game
Love the game but it glitched during a puzzle and wouldn’t allow further play. Contacted developer who sent generic unhelpful reply, and apple refused to refund money

Frozen Heart
I quite enjoyed this game. The extra puzzles are not always very easy or were unclear what to do but you can always skip it. This is a fun holiday-themed diversion and I would recommend it.
I am very displeased that Big Fish is charging again for games I previously bought after advertising you can play a bought game as many times as you like. It really seems like they are closing up shop or phasing out. Not much new to offer.

Keeps going back to the beginning
Started it twice, gave up after the third time. Annoyed to see other people saying this from two years ago when I have checked the reviews, yet you still take my money for this glitchy old game two years on...!
Horribly frustrating!
I never write reviews, but this game was so frustrating that I felt compelled to write one. I’ve played a lot of hidden object games. A lot of them. I enjoy being challenged, but this game was terrible. The instructions were unclear, even my husband who usually can get me out of a jam was left perplexed. I’d be tapping the screen and no direction would come up across the top. It was not intuitive at all. Other games give subtle hints or riddles, sort of like breadcrumbs, but not this one. There were no triggers that let you know there were coins to find or morphing objects on any of the screen. Whatever I found was usually by accident while tapping all over the board out of frustration. Truth be told I don’t always follow the stories that closely and maybe I should. I really don’t think the story would have helped me much in this instance. The mini games were so hard I skipped most of them. Seemed like they were all pretty much the same- restoring some sort of picture by moving by swapping pieces. I truly didn’t care enough to visit the guide. Waste of money unlocking the full game. I didn’t even play the bonus and I never do that. Couldn’t delete this game fast enough.

This is an enjoyable game, but it has reset itself twice in 3 days, and taken me right back to the beginning, which is really annoying.
Black Screen after Introduction
Wow, what a waste of money for a game I couldn't even play. It goes through the intro, then the screen goes black. I have a collections Santa bag, a Xmas help tree, a blank inventory bar and an empty goal book. I have tried deleting the game the downloading it again. Nope didn't work. Don't waste your money!

Frustrating
I have been trying to play for a few weeks now.. everything seems fine when I put my name and everything.. but then when I get so far.. and close it out, I come back to having to start all over again.
Very poor
The game controls are non-standard. It has weird mini-games AND NO WAY TO SKIP THEM. I just wanted to play a game and relax. I don’t know why they would design a game in this way. Strange.
Clunky, not worth it
I love Big Fish adventure games and I’ve purchased several of these with no issues - this one, however, was extremely clunky. The pieces didn’t always work properly - the puzzles were frustrating b/c they were simple but you’d spend 20 minutes on them just b/c it wasn’t working right or the directions were either missing or weren’t clear. The search/find was also different than their usual ones and it wasn’t good. I’d suggest skipping this one and getting Nutcracker or one of their other Christmas games.

Elf time
The game was going along fine until I got to the cave. I am suppose to use the long hook to move thru the path to get the handle for the shovel, but the hook won’t let me follow the path!!
