Not compatible with mantis q.
Since app upgrade my mantis q has failed to connect. The phone always says another device is connected. The drone is junk now. The two blue light flash fast be aware before buying this brand. Your drone could stop working at anytime.
Waypoint addition
So happy they added waypoint. I’m getting into photogrammetry and this is a welcome addition. Thanks
Horrible
Took my drone out this past Sunday and it lost connection midflight! When I tried to return to home it flew up and away! When I try to locate my drone it says it’s hours away on a school roof! I go to the location an it’s completely not accessible💔
App works ok but updates and features are required
App works good but it would be nice to have an area to tap for quick access during the preflight checks to see if the IMU, GPS, Compass and all of that other stuff is working properly.
Keeps crashing
App now crashes or disappears from screen during flight and always when recording.

Second flight I was in a tight space, under some trees; When I hit the return home switch, it went straight up into a tree & crashed onto the cement; I didn’t know it would go up to land; The video shows the crash very awesome!!!
The emergency stop window opened unintentionally & instead of closing it, I switched it on; The drone lost power & hit the asphalt upside down!!!
I had to do some bending & two motors were jammed; I was able to make it fly again but it’s a little unstable; Still considering, this is a very tuff drone & still flys after two hard crashes; I hope I can get it repaired!!!
Is the Mantis G supposed to have a microphone; I’m not getting audio!!!

Fun to fly

Got it out of the box and first thing after connecting to phone it forces you to upgrade the firmware.
The screens states network error and there is no way to go back or use the iPhone without this forced upgrade.

On to of this Best Buy is asking for a 15% restocking fee.

Problema para conectar !!!
Fiz alguns voos com drone um dia fui conectar ele ao controle e ele fica alertando que está sendo controlado por outro aparelho sendo que nunca conectei ele com outro celular !!!

Don’t buy yuneec
They have terrible drones. Bought it from Best Buy and gyroscope didn’t calibrate said it was a tech problem. Sent it to them never got back to me and kept the drone

Pretty good drone. Could be improved by adding the ability to transfer flight data into dronelogbook and adding Support for using a VR headset.

Great drone for beginners. Would like to see more flying options on the App. The possibility of an upgrade to the gimbal and you have a customer for life !

Haven’t had any issues with the app. Easy menus to follow and customize like camera settings, circle distance and height. The following modes aren’t that good though. Takes great pictures and satisfactory video. The camera up/ down is a bit jerky. The drones distance seems to be a lot less than stated in the manual. Overall, I call it a beginner drone at an above average price. Its extremely reliable and solidly built. Excellent flight time. For the price I would preferred it to at least have “ smart batteries “ or perhaps at least a 2 axis stabilized camera. Handles wind with ease but photos have to be edited to level. I’m not unhappy with the product but for the price, it could be better.

The app is terrible, I can not do a flight no matter the distance without the app shutting down. I was recently told that there was a update coming for this app....please hurry!
