Point your iPhone at anything and see it through a sheet of patterned glass. What the preview shows is what the photo and the video become. This is not a filter painted on afterwards. Light is traced from air into glass and back out again, so a slightly thicker plate or a slightly larger cell changes the whole scene. ■ Three patterns Quadra — broad square facets joined by soft rolls Cross Large — regular heavy crossed ribs Diamond — diagonal facets that cut the scene on the bias ■ Build the glass with a dial Cell size, relief, corner roundness, thickness, edge roll and reflection brightness, all under your thumb on a half-circle dial that never covers the subject. Settings persist, and one reset returns everything to the start. ■ Compare with the original One tap shows the scene without glass. Two taps tell you exactly what changed. ■ Video through the same glass Change pattern and dials while recording. The change is captured live. Allow the microphone and the sound comes with it. ■ Stays on the device No account. Nothing is uploaded. Every frame is processed on the iPhone GPU and saved to your photo library. ■ Good to know This is a prototype. The lighting reflection is a synthetic indoor preset and has not been matched against a manufactured glass sample. Capture is portrait 3:4 only; landscape is not supported. Recording ends when the app leaves the screen. Requires iOS 17 or later and an iPhone with a camera.
