This app is beautifully designed and the course contains a wealth of useful vocabulary and grammar concepts that are tailored to be useful in real life! I'm currently studying the Japanese course, and also Chinese with another app called 'Hello Chinese' from the same developer. Both are fantastic and worth every penny! ๐ฅณ

Amazing app for learning Japanese!
I am learning Japanese, but Iโm sure my review applies to people studying Korean as well!
Everything from the videos of native speakers to the questions and dialogues are very useful and have real world uses. Itโs set up so you can master conversational basics quickly if youโre planning a trip in the near future. My favorite feature has to be the audio review feature, instead of listening to a podcast in the car or with your AirPods on around the house, you can review words and grammar/sentences youโve already covered. On other apps (like the one with the bird) I felt like it was playing a game and after months felt like I didnโt learn much. YuSpeak is definitely better and different from all the other apps, because YuSpeak actually helps familiarize the user to hearing the language spoken and to understand it in order to respond back confidently and correctly. It starts you off easy with simple sentences but the progression in difficulty is natural and not overwhelming, plus it keeps reinforcing the topics you already covered while teaching you new ones. I highly recommend downloading YuSpeak, it has a wealth of knowledge at your fingertips for learning Japanese and resources such as stories to read based on language level and as I mentioned before hands free audio reviews of the material youโve already covered.

I Love This!
I really love this it was informative and fun and the nemonicโs really helped me remember some made me laugh cause thatโs not how the sounds go in English however I understood the connotation, context and connection so it still works. And once I got the hang of it I donโt have to think so much and can just remember! Thanks for the great app! Itโs literally my first time trying this app and I feel like I really learned, understand and can retain. Great job! Thanks for your hard work itโs really paying off! Btw Iโm doing both the Japanese and Korean without any problems. I can wait to move to the readers and other resources you have provided!!! If you one day even add Mandarin I could hit the trifecta lol

Very good for grammar and actually useful stuff but gets kind of fast!

Iโm writing this review. Iโm very sleepy. I canโt think of a bunch of flowery words to describe the experience. I enjoy this app and itโs teaching me a lot and I really enjoy the little comic book things they do.
Most consistent Korean app ever
This app is already great, but if you could add dark mode Iโd really appreciate it. Oh and make it support a horizontal layout would also be so helpful! Especially to make the mac experience better for schooling. Other than that this app gets an easy 5/5!
Good way to learn a new language

I found this app to be an excellent app to study Japanese. Very easy to understand instructions and I donโt find this app to miss any important points that needs to be addressed while learning the language.

This app is just getting started, but itโs amazing! They have everything together and are making updates regularly. YuSpeak is from the creators of Hello Chinese. When this app has reached full maturity it will surpass LingoDeer in every way.

So far Iโm liking the app! I was introduced to them by a friend using the Chinese learning app and weโre both enjoying learning. I wish I could do a placement test of some kind but Iโm honestly glad for the refresher on the basics

The app is great! Currently using it for Japanese learning and the structure and course content is really engaging, from alphabet memorisation with phonemic cues, to native speakers and interactive comics! Iโm loving this so far!
