I used YuTU to learn a few new skills from other students and even made a good friend through it. A good way to connect and pick things up from people near me

As a student and makeup artist, I’ve found this app amazing for earning a bit on the side! Super easy to use, and it’s helped me connect with clients while studying. Highly recommend!
Made money and trusted the process
Earned a bit from my own skills and used YuTU to bid on a coding lesson too. Everything felt safe and legit and I love how the videos make it more real.

Very community friendly and authentic. Some really interesting posts from people who I know live near me which makes it so much more interesting. There isn’t any of the toxicity of other social media platforms and it’s really worth joining :)

Great for finding likeminded friends!
Yutu is so good for finding people in your area that share similar hobbies. It was a really nice way of communicating with new locals during lockdown plus I think I learnt a thing or two from everyone showing off their skills. Can’t wait to see more now that things are reopening!
New Friends
I genuinely made a new friend at my local gym that I recognised from YuTU - turns out we’ve both been in the area for over 5 years and had never clocked each other, and now we’re great friends. A casual and easy way to find local things & people, and it’s actually SO refreshing to have an app that’s not all for filters! Would recommend.

Good concept
I am a fan of the concept - bringing communities together and lending a hand to others. So far so good but obviously haven’t put it to proper use yet due to the pandemic. Will be interesting to see if it takes off when we get back to normal life!
Community feel
Great for getting in touch with your local community, whether that be to request help with a project or to source a walking partner now that we have some new post-lockdown freedom !! The app has a really friendly, positive feel to it. Great so far!
Great app
I was recommended YuTU by a mate as I’ve just moved to the area. So far so good, particularly like that I can set my location and see posts just in that place, plus swiping through content that’s ordered into categories makes for easy watching.
An app promoting authenticity !
This app is far from the superficiality of social media apps such as instagram. It is all about getting to know real people in your community ! This is exactly what society needs right now.

Intrusive and needy
Very sorry, wanted to support a fledgling app but I don’t want to provide a mandatory 5 second video of myself or mandatorily invite friends to the app before I even get to try it for myself. Uninstalled before I ever saw the functions of the app, because I can’t recommend something I hadn’t tried and this was a prerequisite.
I honestly suggest the creators change this requirement if they want to continue growing their platform with a greater chance of success.
Still giving 3/5 stars because I don’t want to be too harsh but from my perspective, it deserves a 1/5.

I’m enjoying getting to know people in the community ! easy to use and very welcoming. Unlike other apps i think there is less pressure to be creating content !!

The best app ever! I really like because you can choose your location and you can interact with the people around your city!
Exciting idea with lots of potential
Great idea and about time social media was used with really positive purpose. These guys need to get lots of folk to sign up in all locations for it to be amazing which I think they could do. Reckon need video uploads to make YuTUs more interactive and some in app photo editing but I expect they’ll get to it. I’m up for it!
