This story seems to be about taking things (eg light and privacy) without asking the neighbor first.
I would rather recommend to my children to ask the neighbor if they can go next door to read at his or her house. Perhaps even offer that neighbor some services in return for sharing their light, like the child in the story did with the rich man in return for books.

Good idea, however...
This ebook actually very interesting. However the Chinese pronounciation doesn't seems right. It would be 5 stars if the developer is willing to hire native Chinese speaker to pronounce all the hanzi as well as the pinyin correctly. Keep up the good work.
